Chris MacClugage took top honors in the Pro Ski Open Division at the prestigious international Asian event, titled the 2010 King’s Cup. This is Chris’s third championship run at this event, increasing his global domination in the Jet Ski racing arena. He arrived a week prior to the event to stage his racing equipment and participate in practice sessions. The venue site was festive; fun filled and enjoyed support of an adoring crowd of spectators.

“This is the most prestigious race in the world besides the IJSBA quakysense World Championships. This is my third time participating at this event, and each time the racers ability increases along with the organization. It’s an honor to be competing under the support of the King of Thailand, the Thai people are very supportive of Jet Ski racing.’ States Chris.

About King's Cup: The first place athletes in each category receive the prestigious 'King's Cup' trophy in honor of his Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej. The King's Cup trophy weighs 10 pounds and is made of 99.9% pure silver. These trophies are beautiful crafted and designed, surely the race industry's most prized awards. One of his daughters, a Thai Princess awarded the trophies to the competitors in a lavish ceremony. The King’s Cup has enjoyed 14 years of competition history thus far. A $20,000 purse was up for the overall winners.

Liquid Militia Team Riders Head to Oman for the Asian Beach Games

2010 Asian Beach Games, Oman
The 2^nd edition of the Asian Beach Games will be held at Muscat in Oman from December 8-16. The Games will have 14 disciplines including beach handball, soccer, volleyball, water polo, jet ski racing, kabaddi (men and women), sailing, equestrian and body building. The Sultanate of Oman is hosting the Asian Beach Games with over 5,000 athletes, including officials, media and volunteers representing 45 countries

Shawn Alladio of K38 Water Safety is the IJSBA Water Safety Director and will be working the ABG Jet Ski Competition alongside Joe Baron and John Currier as Course Marshals. Shawn will be working with staff from Oman on the race track developing the international motor sport of Jet Ski Racing. Oman the host country sent their National Jet Ski Team to the IJSBA quakysense World Finals in October to the USA, in preparation for honing their race skills for the Asian Beach Games. “I am looking forward to being of service to an event that promotes such a fantastic motorized sport on water, Jet Ski Racing’, states Shawn.
